Teacher Appreciation Week - May 11-15
Dear RWS Community,

Everyone at RWS has done amazing work to adapt to Waldorf Distance Learning, and we're excited to celebrate their efforts during Teacher and Staff Appreciation week.   Parents are invited to participate in a socially distanced way the week of May 11-15 .

For Administrative Staff, Aftercare Teachers, and Substitute Teachers: Please mail cards, notes of appreciation, or sentimental gifts to the staff member at:

Staff name
Richmond Waldorf School
1301 Robin Hood Rd
Richmond, VA 23227

Please note: Parents are asked not to make any in-person deliveries to the school. Also, many staff are working from home with infrequent visits to the school, so please do not send perishable items by mail.

For Class Teachers and Specialty Teachers, please check with your class representative for details/notes of how these teachers prefer to be contacted, or send notes to the school.

Thank you all for taking some time to share appreciation for our amazing Richmond Waldorf Team!

While we are apart, we want to be sure our community is able to enjoy and celebrate May Faire at home.  Ribbons are on the way to our current families for you and your child to make your own May Poles!  On our blog, you will find several resources for celebration ideas including songs, crafts and videos. We've got a wonderful slideshow sing-a-long you will love to watch!

We hope to create a slideshow of our community’s remote celebrations this year, too! If you want to join us, please send pictures of your celebrations to us at
[email protected] , and tag us on  Facebook  and  Instagram
