Get ready to step into the glamour of the roaring twenties as we announce our role as chairs for the Glitz, Glam & Gatsby Gala for St. Anthony of Padua Catholic School! This soirée, inspired by the opulence of the Great Gatsby era, will unfold at Hyatt Regency Grand Central on April 6, 2024. Immerse yourself in an evening of laughter, music and elegance, in your most dapper 20's attire. The evening will consist of a delightful cuisine, enchanting cocktails, captivating auctions, and lively entertainment. Join us for a wonderful night with fellow school parents and experience new and exciting elements that set this Glitz, Glam & Gatsby Gala apart.

This 23rd annual gala is not just a celebration—our mission is to rally support for two paramount pillars of our school: security and academics. Your generous contributions will fortify our commitment to creating a safe and nurturing environment for our students by enhancing school security measures. Simultaneously, we aspire to elevate the academic experience for our young students, providing cutting-edge resources, advanced technology, and innovative programs that empower them to excel. We hope your anticipation matches ours as we prepare for the grand celebration of our school at the Glitz, Glam & Gatsby Gala!

In the weeks leading up to this event, seize the chance to sign up for exclusive student sign-up parties, parent-hosted soirees, and special school activities, including the ever-popular “Teacher for the Day.” If you’re new to these offerings, peruse the newsletter for details. Have you ever wanted to host a party or small event to help raise money for our school? Now is your chance to be a fundraising hero! Some examples of hosted parties: adults-only sip-and-paint party, kids nerf party, backyard family movie night, dads poker night, charity softball game. The options are limitless! Tell us all about your proposed event and we'll handle the ticketing and help with the promotion! TEACHER FOR THE DAY & CLASS PROJECTS AUCTION

Your student can be "Teacher for the Day"! Each year as a part of our gala, the teachers and staff donate experiences as a part of our silent auction. These experiences will be open for online bidding during Catholic Schools Week (Jan. 26 - Feb. 2) on our gala website: APSCHOOL.GIVESMART.COM. Mark your calendars to participate and bid to win a unique opportunity for your student.

NEW THIS YEAR! Each grade or class will be creating a Class Project. These will also be auctioned during Catholic Schools Week (Jan. 26 - Feb. 2). Stay tuned for more information from your grade-level room parents about how to support their efforts.

AUCTION DONATIONS

Our Gala Committee is seeking items or services to add to our Live or Silent Auctions and we would love your help! Here are some ideas!

Travel - Cruises, round-trip tickets, luxury hotel accommodations; use of resort condos or family vacation homes; use of private jet, helicopter, or yacht; and unique getaways.
Sports, Health, and Fitness - VIP boxes or seating at sporting events; golf, tennis, biking or exercise equipment; lessons or coaching (golf, tennis, dancing, yoga, etc.).
Entertainment and Dining - Lunch or dinner at restaurants or clubs; premium wines or wine tours; entertainment packages (concert, ballet, theater, etc.); chef for an evening or party; limousine services; and passes to theme parks.
House and Home - Electronic items (iPod, computer, camera, Kindle, etc.); theme baskets (chocolate lover, coffee lover, book lover, music lover, children's toy packages, etc.); home décor; and landscaping services.
