Monday Morning Prayer Time
Beginning in June, 2017, and until the pandemic, several of us gathered at 7:30am each Monday morning in the chapel for prayer. A year ago we switched to Zoom and continued to “gather.”
Then, this past Monday, we prayed “together, but separately.” Some of us were physically in the chapel, while others joined by Zoom. Now we would like to invite you to join us on Monday mornings in one of those two settings. We invite you to be with us from 7:30am – 8am, whether in the chapel or on Zoom
To get the link for the Zoom prayer time, please call the receptionist at 256-428-9400 or email the Receptionist at receptionist@fbchsv.org.
There is something wonderful about a family of faith pleading together for an outpouring of God’s Spirit.
Your Pastor,
Travis

HAP Collection Week
This week we collect our pantry and household items for Huntsville Assistance Program. During Lent, families were encouraged to put aside one time per day to bless another family. If you are unfamiliar with HAP, click the link below to hear Missions Minister Scott Day tell you more! We invite all families, those who collected daily and those who simply want to serve others this way, to bring their bags of food to the church between now and next Sunday. Let's fill the carts with items for HAP.
Hope for the Journey
April 17, 8am - 5pm
Life Center at First Baptist Huntsville

The Hope for the Journey simulcast aims to shepherd parents and caregivers to a deeper understanding of their children’s needs. As more and more families have responded to meet the needs of vulnerable children by adopting and providing foster care, the demand for practical and proven resources and tools continues to grow.

While specifically designed for those who work with kids from hard places, the simulcast offers exceptional parenting and teaching skills for ALL parents and teachers.

First Baptist is a host site for the simulcast and is offering this event to parents and caregivers free of charge. Certificates of training will be available for foster and adoptive parents. Registration on Mosaic is required.
