April promises to be a special month here at the church. We will celebrate Holy Week, beginning with Palm/Passion Sunday on April 13. And, as is our custom, we will collect the annual One Great Hour of Sharing Offering, to help people in need locally and throughout the world. After the service we will have a wonderful opportunity for fellowship with a Potluck Luncheon.
See the article in this Newsletter for the special Holy Week Services on Maundy Thursday and Good Friday. And of course, join us for our Easter Celebration, on Sunday, April 20.
A primary theme of Easter is living into hope, transformation, and new life/beginnings. That's often referred to as "practicing resurrection" or living as a “resurrection community, even as “Easter people”.
This is both a gift and a challenge to be the people God has created and called us to be, and to do the ministry we are called to do, such as striving to bring hope, transformation, and new life into the world itself – to eradicate injustice, poverty, violence, and inequity.
Blessings, Rev. Todd

Birthday Endowment Fund
A meaningful way to celebrate this year's Birthday, is to donate an amount equal to your age to the Endowment Fund.
This donation is also a wonderful way to honor others such as children, grandchildren and friends and allows the church to have funds available for special projects.
Checks can be made payable to College Hill and marked "Birthday Fund" on the memo portion of the check.

College Hill's
Blessing Box
You have seen the beautiful Blessing Box in the west garden, between the sanctuary and parking lot.
This is beautiful in two ways: the construction and design, but also the blessing it gives to those in need who pass by the church. With the box, they can slate their hunger, quench their thirst, wash, combat headaches, etc.
You have been generous supplying that box, but we are down to two weeks supply. If you are able, we could use individual packets of non-perishable food, small drink containers, hygiene products like soap, sanitizer, women's products, and the like. There will be an ongoing need for these items, so please donate whenever possible. Items can be placed in the Blessing Box closet in Fellowship Hall.

The code can be used for "Pledges or General Donations" to our operating budget, or for "Special Donations" which can be designated to occasional special collections taken throughout the year.

Multigenerational Vacation Church School
2025
June 1 ~ 8
“JUST LIKE ME: digging in and growing deep”
JUST LIKE ME is Vacation Church School (VCS) curriculum that centers the deep and active faith lives of children and the real-world context our kids live in. Grounded in theologies of inclusion, this unique Vacation Bible School uses both First and Second Testament Bible Characters to help students build vital social and spiritual skills that support active faith development. This intersectional curriculum is designed to help kids celebrate their own identities as beloved creation of God—just as they are. Over the course of the week, campers will be introduced to a cast of neighborhood Gardeners who will help them explore Biblical stories of people who were able to change things for the better. Students will practice sharing what they have, finding their community, and using their voice for others. This multigenerational experience is for people of all ages. Adults will learn about non-profit community partners that are making a real difference in our community.
