College Hill has hired Betsy Guyer as our part-time Director of Children & Family Ministry. We are so excited to have this opportunity to expand our programing and relationship building. Betsy brings much background experience, as well as being our recent Moderator of the Christian Education ministry team. We begin a new era in children and family ministry!

Betsy will be leading a team for this year's Vacation Church School toward the end of June.

We will be moving our services of worship from the Sanctuary to the Fellowship Hall from June 23 through July 28. Like last year, this will provide a bit more relaxed atmosphere during part of the summer.

It is with much sadness indeed to have lost two very longterm members of our community of faith, Cam McKenzie and Norman Gainey, both ordained Ruling Elders in the PC(USA) and for our congregation. We are grateful to God for their life, love, friendship, and service. Please keep the extended families of both in your prayers.

The Chancel Choir visited the home of Dana Livingston to bring comfort.

Although individuals can use this reflection tool, it is designed for collaborative reflection. To the greatest extent possible, talk with and listen to others at your church. Our Session will be addressing different aspects each month throughout the rest of the year.

For each of the ten dimensions of belonging, reflect on what you are doing well and what could be done better or differently.

To ensure this reflection leads to observable action, agree on taking at least three actionable steps that will make a noticeable difference in promoting inclusion and belonging at your community of faith.

Over the past year, one of the Afghan wives has made bread that the Team is selling in Fellowship Hall the 1^st and 3^rd Sundays of each month. The flat bread is $5 and the Bolani (vegetable stuffed Afghan flat bread) is $7. 100% of the sales proceeds have gone back to the family, which helps supplement the household income for this family with six children.

We need a volunteer to help with this outreach, by sharing the responsibility of picking up the bread and bringing it to the church. Jennifer Campbell can continue picking up most of the time, but would like a back-up person when she is out of town.

HELP! Great Need for Tutors for Sakhizada Family: Beginning in August, we will need tutors for girls ages 7 and 18 months, and boys ages 9 and 4. Older children tutored in English and Math, and younger children in educational play. Tutoring children is on Sundays from 3:00-4:45 pm. Also, tutoring two youngest on Thursday from 1:00-2:00 pm while parents are being tutored. If you are interested in tutoring these children, please (click name to) contact Debbie Chase, or Tally Ferguson.

Compassion Camp is coming back to College Hill! Compassion Camp: Changing the World with LovingKindness. This multi-generational Vacation Church School experience will take place 2 Sundays and 3 evenings this summer:

Compassion Camp is a program where kids, families and adults explore what it means to have compassion for others, ourselves, and the world. As we look around the world, our deep need for compassion becomes more evident with each passing day, perhaps now more than ever.

Compassion Camp’s goal is to cultivate compassion for each other, ourselves, and the world. We will examine different places in our lives where we can cultivate compassion. We’ll explore themes of compassion as they relate to each session’s scripture.

The practice of lovingkindness serves as the backbone for our theme. Lovingkindness is the utmost form of selfless love toward ourselves and others. Compassion Camp is for the entire congregation (and any guests you would like to invite).

Come for dinner and a Bible lesson, stay for group activities like crafts and games for kids, and community speakers for adults.

High school age youth and adult volunteers are needed to help with children’s programming.

Teachers - we appreciate you! You are such an important piece of our congregation's faith puzzle.

Please plan to attend worship on Sunday, June 2, for Teacher Appreciation Day at College Hill! Without your investment in the faith journey of our kids and adults, our puzzle would be missing a vital piece.

Our First Sunday Food Collection for the Kendall Whittier Food Pantry is in need of breakfast cereal (Cheerios, Corn Flakes, or other less sweet cereals) and 1-2 lb. bags of rice.

Canned fruit and boxed cereal are immediate needs for the Food Pantry, so feel free to bring donations to the church at any time, and we will distribute.

The code can be used for "Pledges or General Donations" to our operating budget, or for "Special Donations" which can be designated to occasional special collections taken throughout the year.

If you would like to bring flowers to decorate the sanctuary for an upcoming worship service, please sign up on the Flower Chart on the bulletin board in Fellowship Hall.

A meaningful way to celebrate this year's Birthday, is to donate an amount equal to your age to the Endowment Fund.

This donation is also a wonderful way to honor others such as children, grandchildren and friends and allows the church to have funds available for special projects.
