Beloved of God~
For your thought in this season after Pentecost:
We always give thanks to God for all of you and mention you in our prayers, constantly remembering before our God and Father your work of faith and labor of love and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.

St. Mark's Mission & Outreach

In an effort to continue to strengthen the wondrous relational fabric of our parish, we have moved our directory to an electronic format. We are starting with a downloadable PDF member directory (it is password protected), and may be downloaded below.
Coming up, members will be able to request changes to their information, submit new photos, and be able to see a current listing of the members of St. Mark's with an app on their phone or logging into a website. If there is an issue with your information, please let the Erin Cook know (email here) and we will get it updated as soon as possible.
When you click on the download link below, the directory file will automatically download to your device, so please take note where your downloads are stored as it may not automatically open. When you attempt to open the PDF file, it will immediately prompt for a password. Click on the link below to see the password - it is case sensitive.

RIP - The Right Rev'd William C. Frey
|
|
Your prayers have been requested for the repose of the soul of Bishop William C. Frey who died yesterday morning (10/11/2020) after a short illness in San Antonio, Texas.
Bishop Frey was born in 1930 and ordained in 1956 in the Diocese of Colorado. He was the Rector at Trinity on the HIll in Los Alamos before serving as bishop in the Diocese of Guatemala and then the Diocese of Colorado. He and his wife Barbara were a great blessing to the Diocese of Rio Grande when he agreed to assist the Standing Committee with pastoral care of our congregations from 2008 to 2010. Bp. Frey came to help at St. Mark’s for several months after the split in 2009.
Cards may be sent to the family at the address below.
The Rev'd Paul Frey
139 Kentucky Street
Laredo, Texas 78041-3227
Into your hands, O merciful Savior, we commend your servant, Bill. Acknowledge, we humbly beseech you, a sheep of your own fold, a lamb of your own flock, a sinner of your own redeeming. Receive him into the arms of your mercy, into the blessed rest of everlasting peace, and into the glorious company of the saints in light. Amen.
May his soul and the souls of all the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
