SAINT MARK'S MISSION & OUTREACH
Please Take Our NEW Survey!
In light of falling infection rates of Covid-19, our Diocesan guidelines and revised policy from the State of New Mexico Department of Health, we may now resume in-person worship on a limited basis, provided adequate safety measures are in place and followed, which include:
  • Social distancing
  • Use of masks
  • No congregational singing
  • Maintaining accurate attendance records in case contact tracing is needed

A letter with an accompanying paper version of the survey is on its way to your address, but if you'd prefer to take it online you may do so here (or by clicking on the button below).

Please have each person in your household fill out the Survey individually, including youth – you may make copies or use the online form to accomplish this.

St. Mark’s staff, vestry and clergy are working to implement the reopening plan in the coming weeks. Your response is an important part of the effort. Thank you!

oil-paint-mess.jpg
We're creating an online gallery with a specific purpose in mind: to invite all parishioners (of all ages and skill levels) to send us your creations during the pandemic for raising fundraising for the Congregational Relief Fund. This fund aims to help those negatively affected by the pandemic. If you're interested, please send Erin Cook via email the following:

  • Clear image of artwork
  • Suggested minimum donation amount
  • Title of artwork
  • Size
  • Medium(s) used

Please note:
  1. Please only submit artwork that is appropriate for the church website.
  2. If someone submits a donation for your piece, you agree to bring the sold artwork promptly to the church office so that it may be picked up by the donating individual.
  3. 100% of the proceeds will go to the Congregational Relief Fund.

Donations may be given anytime by selecting "Congregational Relief Fund" in the "(Optional) Use this donation for" dropdown in PayPal or write "Relief Fund" on the memo line of your check and send it to the church office: 431 Richmond Place NE, 87106.

If the Bible isn't a science book or an instruction manual, then what is it? What do people mean when they say the Bible is inspired? When Rachel Held Evans found herself asking these questions, she began a quest to better understand what the Bible is and how it is meant to be read. What she discovered changed her--and it will change you too.

Class reading assignment plan (please read prior to each class):
  • March 7 – Chapters 4 and 5
  • March 14 Chapters 6 and 7
  • March 21 Chapter 8 and Epilogue
  • March 28 Palm Sunday – Final discussion
