For your thought:
And wherever he went, into villages or cities or farms, they laid the sick in the marketplaces, and begged him that they might touch even the fringe of his cloak; and all who touched it were healed.
-- Mark 6: 56
All are welcome to worship with us on Sundays at 9:30 and Thursdays at 11:00 a.m.

A New Opportunity to Pray Together
|
|
All are invited to join Marceliano Varoz on Thursdays at 10:30 (before the 11:00 a.m. Midweek Eucharist), in the Stoney Chapel for a 25-minute period of contemplative silence and mutual support in prayer. Before we move into the Nave for the Eucharist, there will be time to name prayers aloud, so the group can hold them in their hearts throughout the week. All are welcome. Please join us!

There will now be ONE St. Mark’s Children’s Chapel on Sunday mornings.
Starting this Sunday, July 18, Children’s Chapel during the 9:30 a.m. liturgy will be available to those joining us via Zoom. After the proclamation of the Gospel (approximately 9:50-9:55), there will be an option to join a Breakout Room. That Breakout Room will follow the Chapel Leader to the Parish Hall for the Children’s Chapel lesson of the day. When the Chapel is over, you may simply exit the room and rejoin the liturgy in the Nave.
There will no longer be Children’s Chapel on Zoom at 9:00 on Sunday mornings.

Where Does FaithWorks Fit in with Asylum Seekers? ABQ FaithWorks is already helping tens of asylum-seeking families - resident in Albuquerque - with basic needs such as food, eviction prevention, navigating the legal system, and transportation. If the shelters in El Paso and the southern part of the State of New Mexico become overwhelmed with more people from many different countries crossing the border, FaithWorks will be ready to help. If you are interested in joining this effort – if and when it happens – please email Garth Bawden (email here). He will want to know your fluency in any other language, your general availability, and your interest in any specific team.

Our Sunday Altar Flowers are provided by the Altar Guild with donations from the congregation. If you have a special birthday, a loved one you are missing or a special date you wish to commemorate, consider making a donation for the altar flowers that week with a special note in the Order of Worship. The suggested donation for flowers is $50.00, which covers Altar Guild costs. However, we will gratefully accept any amount in remembrance or in honor of your loved one. Dedications need to be clearly written and the donations must be received one week before the date for print. To assist you, we have a new sign up here, and drop the donation in the mail or the gray drop box behind the Welcome Table in the narthex. Please write" Altar Flowers" in the memo line description, if using a check. If you have any questions, please contact the Parish Administrator (email her here) or 505.262.2484. Thank you!

Please call to sign up now!
We are eager to hear how the Spirit is moving in your life, and we are honored to discern how we can bless and support you in this season of change and transition. As a clergy team, our (admittedly ambitious) goal is to meet with all members of St. Mark's at least once this summer.
Please help us achieve our goal by calling the church office
Monday-Thursday, 9AM-1PM at 505-262-2484 to set up your summer meeting
with one of St. Mark's Clergy as soon as possible.
Children and youth, as well as adults; visitors and newcomers, as well as longtime members; geographically distant as well as local members: Everyone is encouraged to make an appointment!
Call and make your appointment with a member of St. Mark's clergy today!

Women’s Ministry PICNIC (Partners in Christ/Neighbors in Community)
|
|
Women from around the diocese will be gathering in small groups at homes or parish halls to be part of a Zoom Picnic. We are hoping that women from parishes that haven’t been able to participate via Zoom over the past year, can now get together to be part of the broader community of Women in the Diocese of the Rio Grande. This will be happening on July 24 at 10:00 a.m.
Each small group will join the main Women's Ministry Zoom gathering (link will be sent prior to the event).
We’ll enjoy the fellowship across the miles of our diocese, play a game or two, make candle S’mores, and other fun, and talk about how we are really Partners in Christ, Neighbors in Community.
Register by contacting Cindy Davis (via email) or by phone 505-379-7327, by the end of this weekend to receive a "basket" of goodies for the event.
