Beloved of God~
For your thought in this season after Pentecost:
And God, who searches the heart, knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
--Romans 8:27

Wednesday Prayer and Mediation Hour with Music and Silence
|
|
Next Week, St. Mark’s will again offer an opportunity for Prayer and Mediation in the Nave of our building on Wednesday Evening, July 29, from 6:00-7:00 p.m. There will be instrumental music for part of the time, and silence for other part of the hour. At the end of the hour, the Lord’s Prayer will be said together as the tower bell is rung.
This is a quiet and simple offering, a place to pray and meditate and an opportunity to once again be inside our prayer-soaked worship space at St. Mark’s. During this COVID-19 period all in-person worship and prayer opportunities will be managed with a reservation system so that we know who is coming and have assigned seating prior to arrival when possible. All who are participating will be asked to wear a face covering, to observe social distancing guidelines, and to make sure that they are signed-in and that we have proper information. We ask that socializing on church grounds be done in the safest way possible with masks and proper distancing so that we can endeavor to keep our congregation safe and healthy.

Learn to Sing & Sign for this Sunday's Worship
|
|
In February we launched a new, experimental, worshipping small group at St. Mark's, called "Juntos" ("Together"). We were only able to gather "Juntos" twice before the pandemic made in-person gatherings impossible. While it isn't anyone's first choice, we are grateful that we can continue to sing, pray, move, listen, and be together online.
You are invited to join Musician David Poole and Mother Sylvia this Sunday, July 26th, at 8:00 p.m. as we gather "Juntos" on Zoom.
We'll share our lows, then sing/move/pray.
We'll share our highs, then sing/move/pray.
We'll read the scriptures, then discuss/sing/move/pray.
We'll offer prayers for one another and our world, then sing/move/pray.
INVITATION TO JOIN ZOOM
(Note, we'll just be finishing up Youth Group in this Zoom Room on Sunday at 8PM, so don't be astonished if there are others in the room when you arrive!)
