Join us for a short, virtual visit each week with the Icons and Iconographers at St. Mark's.  This week, St. Mark's Iconographer Pat Catlett introduces us to the tender icon of Mary: The Sweet Kiss.  Enjoy this video visit with Pat and the Icon of the Sweet Kiss.
Recent Offertory Songs in Sunday Worship

Each week, different members of St. Mark's contribute their talents to create a video for our offertory song. In case you missed it, or simply want to enjoy it again you can view God is My Shepherd (from August 2) and In the Garden (from August 9) on YouTube.

Wednesday Prayer & Meditation Hour
Next Week, St. Mark’s will again offer an opportunity for in-person Prayer and Meditation in the Nave of our building on Wednesday, August 19, from 6:00-7:00 p.m. A contemplative mix of instrumental music and silence, culminating with the Lord's Prayer as the tower bell is rung.

There is assigned seating, so please reserve a spot prior to coming. Also, all are asked to wear a face covering, to observe social distancing guidelines and to make sure that they are signed-in and that we have proper information. We ask that socializing on church grounds be done in the safest way possible with masks and proper distancing so that we can endeavor to keep our congregation safe and healthy.
Green Team at St. Mark's
St. Mark’s has a Green Team! Well, actually we’re just getting started. Our goals are to reduce the church’s energy and water footprint, improve efficiency, and reduce waste. St. Mark’s is participating in the Albuquerque Mayor’s Energy Challenge, which provides resources to help small businesses and organizations achieve 20% energy savings in five years in order to help the city meet its climate goals.

During this time of COVID-19, all of us are spending a lot more time at home and less time everywhere else including at church. Recognizing this, the city has provided some resources to help everyone look for opportunities to save energy at home. The links below provide access to a useful tip sheet and also an informative but funny video (starring Albuquerque’s favorite comedian Lynette). We hope everyone will take a look.

If you’re interested in participating in St. Mark’s Green Team, send a note to Ken Reese via email.
