Sunday Morning Zoom Church (For All)
If you are not a fan of using Facebook, or if you simply long to see more familiar faces on Sunday mornings, please consider joining our weekly Sunday morning liturgy via Zoom. It's not the same as being in-person, but Zoom offers the chance to see (and even sometimes hear) the people you are worshipping with on Sunday mornings. The "Zoom Room" opens at 8:30 a.m. every Sunday morning, and remains open until Noon. You are welcome to join at any point during the morning. This coming Sunday, August 23, we will be offering a special blessing during worship for St. Mark's Member Jeff Devereaux as he begins a new job. If you have been thinking about joining worship via zoom, why don't you take the plunge this Sunday, so that Jeff may see (as well as feel) the presence of the worshipping community that is blessing him.

Starting in September: Three In-Person Worship Opportunities
Back to School Blessings
Starting September, we will offer three weekly opportunities for in-person worship at St. Mark's
While we continue to gather as the St. Mark's Community to celebrate our principal Sunday Eucharist at 9:30 a.m. online only, we are slowly beginning to offer additional opportunities for St. Mark's members to gather in limited numbers for in-person worship each week. Beginning in September we hope to welcome limited numbers of members to join us for in-person worship three times each week:
  1. Sundays, 6:00 p.m. - Informal ("Rite III") Holy Eucharist in the Fish Garden (Enter through gate from East Parking Lot.  Bring your own picnic blanket or camp chairs).
  2. Wednesdays, 6:00 p.m. - Evening Prayer & Meditation in the Nave Continuing. You may register for Wednesday, August 26 here.
  3. Thursdays, 11:00 a.m. - Holy Eucharist Rite II in the Fish Courtyard (Enter from either parking lot into the narthex, and proceed directly to the courtyard through the parish hall).
Space is limited, and reservations are required for ALL in-person services at St. Mark's. Masks and physical distancing required. Please RSVP in advance for services - all reservation forms will be available in next Friday's Messenger.
In-Person Worship Host Training: Volunteers Needed
Sunday, August 23rd at 11:00 a.m. on Zoom
(A Breakout Room from Zoom Coffee Hour)
Click here for Zoom, Meeting ID is 894 5266 0070, and the password is liturgy
In order to offer opportunities for "in-person" worship at St. Mark's (to supplement our principal Sunday service which we continue to celebrate exclusively online), we need volunteers to serve as worship hosts for each service, to assist the priest with set up/cleanup for the service, and to welcome and "check-in" people who come to worship. If you would be willing to serve as a worship host for "in-person" worship at St. Mark's, please join us for a brief training in the "Zoom Room" on Sunday, August 23, at 11:00 a.m.
Visit with a St. Mark's Icon: Pentecost
Join us for a short, virtual visit each week with the Icons and Iconographers at St. Mark's. This week, St. Mark's Iconographer Lin Marksbury introduces us to the fiery, spirit-filled Pentecost Icon.  Enjoy this video visit with Lin and the Pentecost Icon.
Recent Offertory Songs in Sunday Worship
Each week, different members of St. Mark's contribute their talents to create a video for our Offertory Song.  In case you missed it, or simply want to enjoy it again you can view Good News! Chariot's a comin' with Johanna Miller-Mutia on YouTube.  You might also enjoy our Prayer Song: O Lord Hear My Prayer, with Art Dougherty and Gayle Keenan.
