St. Mark's Montessori School has Reopened!
Great news! St. Mark's Montessori School, an outreach of St. Mark's, is officially reopen! All of our staff are diligently working to make sure we are following state and federal guidelines to protect our students, families and staff.

We need everyone's participation in this effort. We ask that anyone with a Facebook account please share that the school is open on their personal pages to help get the word out. It takes less than two minutes and may have a significant impact.

A sincere thank you to all.

Starting in September: Three In-Person Worship Opportunities
Back to School Blessings
Starting in September, we will offer three weekly opportunities for in-person worship at St. Mark's
While we continue to gather as the St. Mark's Community to celebrate our principal Sunday Eucharist at 9:30 a.m. online only, we are slowly beginning to offer additional opportunities for St. Mark's members to gather in limited numbers for in-person worship each week. Beginning in September we hope to welcome limited numbers of members to join us for in-person worship three times each week:
  1. Wednesdays, 6:00 p.m. - Evening Prayer & Meditation in the Nave Continuing. You may register for Wednesday, September 2 here.
  2. Thursdays, 11:00 a.m. - Holy Eucharist Rite II in the Fish Courtyard - Starting, September 3 (Enter from either parking lot into the narthex, and proceed directly to the courtyard through the parish hall). You may register for September 3 here.
  3. Sundays, 6:00 p.m. - Informal ("Rite III") Holy Eucharist in the Fish Garden - starting September 6 at 6 p.m. (Enter through gate from East Parking Lot.  Bring your own picnic blanket or camp chairs). You may register here.
Space is limited, and reservations are required for ALL in-person services at St. Mark's. Masks and physical distancing required. Please RSVP in advance for services.
New Mexico/Nob Hill Architecture Website
St. Mark's has recently been added to a website of Nob Hill architecture. You may visit the website here (please note that St. Mark's is about half-way down the page):
Visit with a St. Mark's Icon: Icon of the Resurrection
Join us for a short, virtual visit each week with the Icons and Iconographers at St. Mark's. This week, St. Mark's Iconographer Lin Marksbury introduces us to the Icon of the Resurrection--through which we glimpse the reality of Christ pulling us up out of the shadows into new life.  Click here to enjoy a video visit with Lin and the Icon of the Resurrection.
Celebrate the Gospel Challenge: Sunday, August 30th
During last Sunday's sermon, Mother Sylvia challenged the congregation to grab a bible and dance (or process) around their living room during the "Sequence Hymn" in preparation for the reading of the Gospel each Sunday that we're worshipping from home during "computer church". We're serious. The Good News of Jesus Christ is really that Good! So, here's the challenge: Take a picture of yourself dancing (or processing) the Bible around your house during worship this coming Sunday, August 30th. Post your photo in the comments of the Facebook Livestream of the service, or email it to Mother Sylvia (via email) and your name will be entered in a drawing. (If you live alone and can't figure out how to dance with the bible, sing a hymn, and take a selfie simultaneously, just join the service via zoom and we'll see you, or shoot an email and we'll take your word for it.) If we draw your name, Mother Sylvia will deliver the breakfast treat of your choice (donuts? bagels? burritos?) to your house for a socially distanced picnic breakfast (and optional Home Eucharist) outside your home, any day of your choosing in September.
Last Sunday's Offertory Song: Weave Us Together
Each week, different members of St. Mark's contribute their talents to create a video for our Offertory Song. In case you missed it, or simply want to enjoy it again, click here to view last Sunday's Offertory Song, featuring original choreography by Ernie Murray-Schroeder, Marissa Rothrock, Kerry & Natalie Trautwein, and the Miller-Mutia Family.
