Santa Claus pays special visit to Rockwood prior to annual Holiday Open House
The head elf himself, Santa Claus, took time from his busy schedule to lend a hand to the talented team that keeps Rockwood Park and Mansion sparkling throughout the holiday season. "Lights look great, all the decorations are where I want them, and I'm sure Mrs. Claus will be happy with the decorating that everyone did down here at Rockwood Mansion," he said. Join us as we come together to celebrate the annual Holiday Celebration and Market at Glasgow Park. There will be music, gift and specialty food vendors, live performances, refreshments, and Santa’s Workshop with activities and more. Don’t forget to bring your camera to take a picture with Santa! County Paramedics help feed hundreds with annual food drive
On November 25, County Executive Meyer joined Asst. Chief Mark Allston and New Castle County Emergency Medical Services team along with dozens of volunteers for their 27th annual food drive to benefit the Emmanuel Dining Room. County pitches in to deliver +6,000 birds for statewide turkey drive
County Executive Meyer joined Nor Enterprises, Our Youth Inc., "Stormin'" Norman Oliver and a host of volunteers, community leaders to deliver over 6,000 turkeys to those in need up and down the state.
