Introducing MEJI's new look

Michigan Elder Justice Initiative (MEJI) is excited to announce the official release of its new logo and visual identity after 13 years. We are proud to unveil MEJI's new logo, which expresses our commitment to providing expert, compassionate services and innovative systemic advocacy for older adults and people with disabilities. This new logo is just the first phase of making MEJI’s services more accessible to our clients and community.

Later this year, we will roll out a comprehensive new website, which will include landing pages for two of MEJI’s ombudsman programs: the MI Health Link Ombudsman (MHLO) and the MI Choice, CTS, and PACE Ombudsman Program (MICPOP). In addition, the Michigan Long Term Care Ombudsman Program (MLTCOP), which is also housed at MEJI, will also be launching a new site.

MEJI's staff works to change systems and empower vulnerable older adults and people with disabilities to achieve dignity, stability, quality of life, and care. It is our aim for these new websites to enhance our advocacy and offer new opportunities to improve our clients’ lives. These new sites will be fully accessible to our audience of older adults and people with disabilities, centralize information about our work and our ombudsman programs, and serve as a resource for consumers and community partners interested in learning more about issues and advocacy affecting older adults and people with disabilities.

More detailed information about the coming launch of MEJI and MLTCOP’s new websites will be released later in the year.

MEJI seeks to empower, educate, and protect low income older adults and people with disabilities on issues that have the greatest impact on their independence, health, dignity, and security. We marshal our legal and advocacy skills to support these at-risk populations in overcoming injustice and inequity, enforcing rights, and achieving quality of life and care.
