Rep Anthony Hartsook is a leader, husband, father, businessman, and a decorated combat veteran. He served with honor and distinction for 26 years in the U.S. Army. He served multiple combat deployments and received numerous awards. He rose through the enlisted ranks and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. He served as Director of Business Development for a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business. He also served as Legislative Affairs Assistant for U.S. Representative Mike Coffman. He holds a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a Minor in Chemistry from Northern Arizona University. He and his wife, Dr. Julia Plevnia, enjoy outdoor activities with their two sons, Harrison and Preston.

Castle Rock VA clinic one step closer to caring for Veterans



The VA Eastern Colorado Health Care System broke ground on February 1 for the first VA outpatient clinic in Douglas County. This new clinic will provide the County's 20,000 veterans with convenient access to comprehensive VA services, including primary care and physical therapy. Representative Hartsook and other local officials attended the ceremony, highlighting the community's commitment to supporting its veterans. The clinic is scheduled to open in mid-February 2025.
