The latest annual Research Report, Resiliency and Research, covering scientific achievements by faculty during the years 2019 and 2020, is now available online. THANK YOU to all those who volunteered! Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Albany, the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York, CDPHP and the Capital District Labor Federation teamed up with community partners to address food insecurity with a mass food distribution at UAlbany on Thursday, August 12th.

COMBINING KNOWLEDGE WITH FUN TO FURTHER STEM EDUCATION
This was the fourth summer that the College of Arts & Sciences hosted Girls Inc. Eureka! Four departments — Atmospheric and Environmental Sciences (with contributions from ASRC and NYS Mesonet), Biological Sciences, Chemistry and Physics — each offered a one-week instructional program to first-year Eureka! students. Students in the second year are taught by faculty from the departments of Psychology, Physics, Electrical & Computer Engineering, and Mathematics & Statistics. Learn more.

The Tradition Continues
The 4th annual Albany Book Festival, presented by the NYS Writers Institute, will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Sept. 25 on the Uptown Campus with visiting world-renowned and local authors, and writing and publishing workshops. All events are free and open to the public and most will be in person, in compliance with the current COVID-19 safety protocols.
