UAlbany's RNA Institute Among 10 Local Proposals Being Considered for Congressional Community Project Funding
U.S. Rep. Paul D.Tonko tours UAlbany's RNA Institute, where scientists have been tracking variants of the COVID-19 virus. The RNA Institute's request for support for new state-of-the-art scientific sequencing and microscopy equipment that will enable Institute scientists to more rapidly and accurately track the virus in New York State is among 10 local proposals Rep. Tonko has put forth to the House Committee on Appropriations for federal funding through the committee’s new Community Project Funding (CFP) process.
