Hello, my fellow Rotarians,
Over the past 30 days, I’ve completed about 16 club installations. Without question, that’s involved a lot of windshield time, and to think, my year as District Governor is just getting started!
It has truly been an honor to serve as the presiding officiant for these orderly and meaningful transitions of leadership. On a few occasions, I had the privilege of presenting Paul Harris Fellow awards, Bequest Society recognitions, and even a Major Donor Award. Each ceremony was a reminder of the dedication, heart and drive that lives in our clubs.
I had the chance to visit clubs I’d never been to before, and the drives home from those events gave me time to reflect on just how rewarding this journey has already been. Meeting the people in our clubs, the ones doing incredible work in their communities and around the world, filled me with reverence and admiration.
Watching your year-in-review videos and slide shows stirred something deep in me. A profound sense of joy and pride to be connected to this Rotary family. We are already living the message of our RI President, Francesco Arezzo: UNITE FOR GOOD.
