The Minutarian Moement

May 3, 2026 | Issue 34

May is Youth Service Month

May shines a spotlight on the power, potential, and promise of young leaders in Rotary. Youth Service reminds us that when we invest in Interactors and Rotaractors, we invest in the future of our communities and our world. Their energy, ideas, and commitment to service inspire us all.

Join us at the District Conference on May 15–16, 2026, where this year’s programming will intentionally include opportunities designed for both Rotaractors and Interactors to learn, connect, and grow alongside Rotarians. It’s a chance to build relationships across generations and strengthen the Rotary family.

We will also support a meaningful service project benefiting the Baby Love Center at Community Health Outreach, collecting diapers and baby wipes for local families in need.

Let’s celebrate youth, serve together, and continue to lead with purpose as we UNITE FOR Good.

2025-26 Asiri outbound to Switzerland - Rotary Youth Exchange District 6970

Since last August, Asiri has been having the experience of a lifetime in Switzerland. Hosted by the Rotary Club of Wynen – und Suhrental in District 1980, she is a long way from Ormond Beach and Seabreeze High School!

In her latest journal entry, she talks about going skiing in the Alps, birthday traditions, and an exploration of religion in her area of Switzerland....

Asiri: "My exchange year has gone by very quickly. It's hard to believe I only have a little over 3 months left in Switzerland. In February I switched host families and it's really cool to see the differences between the two. Each has different expectations and traditions...."
