This week, I had the pleasure of visiting two amazing clubs— and I absolutely love visiting clubs and meeting the incredible people who create positive change in their communities. The joy, energy, and camaraderie in the room were contagious—thank you both for your warm welcome and hospitality!
We also held two big events: the District Membership Summit and the District Interact Summit. Fittingly, September’s Rotary theme is Basic Education and Literacy. Our clubs have long-standing commitments to education, from dictionary programs to reading buddies in elementary schools to scholarships for high school students. Rotarians are transforming lives through learning every single day.
At the Membership Summit, we explored ways to attract new members, engage current ones, and adapt club models to meet the needs of today’s communities. At the Interact Summit, I spent time with 7–8 Interact clubs from across the district. These students were incredible, working on strategic planning, sharing bold ideas, and showing real passion for service. One Interactor even asked me, “How do I join a Rotary club after I graduate?” I was thrilled to share the roadmap with him. The future is bright! 🌟
Education. Membership. Youth leadership. Each of these reminds us that we should be forever learners, always growing, always equipping ourselves with knowledge to better serve our communities and the world.
Let’s keep learning. Let’s keep serving. Let’s keep uniting for good.
Have a great Rotary week, friends! 💙🌀
