Bo Norton
District Governor

2026-2027

Rotary District 6970

Hello Rotarians,

I hope you had a wonderful Fourth of July with family and friends as we celebrated the 250th anniversary of our nation's founding. As we reflect on the freedoms we enjoy, let us remember those whose service and sacrifice made them possible.

It is both an honor and a privilege to follow the distinguished leaders who have come before me and to have the opportunity to serve you. I am extremely grateful to those who have supported me throughout my Rotary journey and continue to do so.

I am ever mindful that our time in leadership is temporary, allowing us to return to our roots as dedicated club members who volunteer their time and resources in support of Rotary's mission of "Doing Good in the World."

During the year ahead, I would like to focus our efforts on how this year's presidential message, "Creating Lasting Impact," can be applied to enhancing the membership experience, increasing Foundation participation, promoting Rotary through intentional public image, strengthening collaboration among our clubs, and developing the next generation of Rotary leaders. By working together in these areas, we can build stronger clubs, inspire greater engagement, and create a lasting impact in our communities and around the world.

Thank you again for all that you do for your club, your community, and Rotary. I look forward to seeing you at district events and during my club visits as we work together to make this a memorable Rotary year.

Yours in Rotary Service,

Bo Norton
District Governor
