The Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) is a multi-district, grassroots leadership development program of member districts organized into regional divisions all around the Rotary world.

RLI seeks to provide quality education in Rotary knowledge and leadership skills to Rotarians interested in developing their Rotary participation and to those identified by Rotary Clubs as having a potential in club leadership (not necessarily as club presidents).  These educational opportunities will teach skills that will benefit the members in their lives and in their volunteer service.

District 6970 is a participant in Rotary Leadership Institute Sunshine Division.

The RLI curriculum consists of three parts –

Part 1 - The Rotarian

Part 2 - The Rotary Club

Part 3 - The Rotary Journey

Graduate courses are periodically offered in the following areas:

• Membership
• The Rotary Foundation
• Public Speaking
• Transforming Your Club (managing change)
• Facilitation Techniques

RLI Courses are offered multiple times throughout the Rotary year in convenient locations including, Orange Park, Deland, Palm Coast and Gainesville.

RLI graduates are engaged Rotarians who derive greater value and increase their impact in their clubs and communities.
