Prime Property | UK | Dartmoor | Brimptsmead Estate
An immaculately presented substantial Edwardian home in the heart of Dartmoor National Park where the East and West River Darts meet. Surrounded by established gardens and grounds of 9.22 acres including two cottages, paddocks, woodland, a bank of the River Dart with fishing rights and direct access to the moor.

Construction of Brimptsmead Estate started in 1893 when permission was granted to build a hunting lodge and summer home. The building was completed in 1906 and leased from the then Prince of Wales. The present owners were given the rare opportunity to purchase the freehold from the current Prince of Wales, His Royal Highness Prince Charles, and have set about completely renovating the estate properties for modern living. Prime Property | NY | Lincoln Square | 200 Amsterdam
A stunning new condominium residence in the heart of the Upper West Side located moments from Lincoln Center and Central Park. Inspired by the grand landmarks lining Central Park West, 200 Amsterdam is a contemporary interpretation of New York's pre-war classic—merging elegant architecture by Elkus Manfredi and genre-defying interiors by CetraRuddy into a striking balance. Residences reimagined with timeless elements for a modern lifestyle. Distinctive entryways, stately kitchens and marble-clad bathrooms combine with breathtaking city, river and Central Park views. Amenities envisioned for cultivated New Yorkers of every age. Three full floors of considered elements—a dedicated spa, 75-foot saltwater pool, Little Composer's Room for children and a private club—foster a sense of tranquility and balance.

Where to Eat...in Lincoln Square | Shun Lee
When it opened on the East Side in 1971, Shun Lee Palace was Manhattan’s original haute cuisine Chinese restaurant in Midtown.  A decade later, Shun Lee West and the Shun Lee Café opened in the Lincoln Square neighborhood on the Upper West Side. Located near the Lincoln Center campus, home of the Metropolitan Opera and the New York Philharmonic, Shun Lee is perfectly placed for pre- and post-performance dining. Shun Lee offers classic dishes from China’s various regions from Cantonese dim sum to whole Beijing-style duck, and the traditional elegant service makes every meal a special occasion.

Prime Property | DC | Navy Yard | The Bower
Stunning views of the Anacostia River and The Yards from the floor-to-ceiling windows in this two-bedroom, two-bath residence with parking included. The contemporary kitchen features Italian cabinetry, quartz countertops with subway tile backsplash and Bosch stainless steel appliances. Wide-plank hardwood flooring, closets with Elfa shelving, Mecho shades, in-unit Bosch washer and dryer and central air conditioning combine with industrial design details which reference the neighborhood’s maritime history.

Newly built in 2019 and earning a Silver LEED certification (resulting in lower electricity costs for owners), The Bower condominium offers a concierge service, a rooftop lounge with outdoor cooking and entertaining spaces and a gym outfitted with Peloton and Precor equipment. Five blocks from the Metro Green Line at the Navy Yard - Ballpark station makes for an easy commute, and recreation in the Navy Yard neighborhood includes the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail, DC Sail and Nationals Park for Major League Baseball. Dining options include Osteria Morini, District Winery, Hatoba Ramen and Philz Coffee.

Where to Eat...in Navy Yard | Osteria Morini
First introduced to Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood in 2010, Osteria Morini brings the soulful cuisine and convivial spirit of Emilia-Romagna in northern Italy to the historic Navy Yards in Washington, DC. Emilia-Romagna is the birthplace of some of the flavors and ingredients most commonly associated with Italian cuisine worldwide—prosciutto, mortadella, Parmigiano Reggiano and balsamic vinegar. In Italian, an osteria is where the owner “hosts” guests. The open kitchen allows for guests to watch the action of their meal preparation unfold, and the outdoor seating overlooks the Anacostia River.

Dining | Family Stories | ilili With Chef Philippe Massoud
NY | Flatiron | Fifth Avenue | ilili
Growing up in the Golden Age of Lebanon, Philippe Massoud began his career early at his family’s Coral Beach Hotel in Beirut. He took on an apprenticeship with the hotel’s head chef, where he learned the trade of regional flavors enjoyed within a glamorous hospitality.

Since arriving in the United States, Philippe was inspired to introduce New Yorkers to authentic Lebanese-Mediterranean food, so he returned to Europe and the Middle East to apprentice at the world’s most celebrated Lebanese-Mediterranean kitchens. His passion for Japanese cuisine and time spent in Spain’s Andalucía region inspired him to revamp the concept of Levantine and Lebanese cuisine.

DC | Southwest Waterfront | The Wharf | ilili
Those of us who remember Philippe Massoud’s Georgetown restaurant Neyla in the early aughts are thrilled the chef has returned to Washington, DC. Created with sustainable materials and custom items from Lebanese artisans, the new ilili space at The Wharf is inspired by the enchanted gardens found within the courtyards of longstanding Beirut homes.

Eater DC notes: Within the 4,500 square feet that make up ilili, there is a large limestone fountain that first flowed in Provence, France, in the late 19th century. The bubbling centerpiece is one of the few pieces of the restaurant that wasn’t made in Lebanon. Citrus trees rise out of square, green-painted planters. Suspended bird cages full of steel doves with lightbulbs for heads float overhead. Daisy tiles covering the floor anchor the space with bright pops of blue and white. To capitalize on its million-dollar waterfront views, Massoud completely demolished the interior to open up a sightline from the entryway to the pier. An outdoor addition with high-tech retractable windows provides front-row seats of boats bobbing on the Potomac River.
