Global Summary | Luxury Real Estate Poised to (Mostly) Strengthen

The luxury residential sector is expected to see modest price increases in 2020 in Paris, Miami and Berlin.  Buyers can still expect to find value in New York, Vancouver and Hong Kong.  Modest rises are expected in Los Angeles, and prices in London are expected to stabilize.

Manhattan Residential Inventory Report December 2019
The monthly supply for Manhattan apartments was 7.6 months in December, 10% higher than a year ago.  At 6.5 months, the supply for coops was well below the 8.9-month rate for condos.  Upper Manhattan was the tightest market with a 5.8-month supply of units for sale.



Manhattan Residential Inventory Report November 2019
There were 8,012 apartments for sale at the beginning of November in Manhattan.  This represents a 7.7-month supply of units, 11% higher than one year ago.  Condos posted a 5% increase from a year ago to 8.7 months' supply, while coops climbed 15% to 6.9 months.  With a 6.4-month supply of units for sale, Upper Manhattan was the tightest market in November.
