Prime Property | DC | Record-Breaker in Dupont Circle
Washington, DC real estate is hitting all kinds of records: Just after an Amaris unit became DC’s priciest condo sale, a historic Dupont Circle mansion has hit the market for $29,950,000—if it goes for that much, it will be city’s most expensive residential deal of all time.
The Blaine Mansion was built in 1882 and is named after its original owner, James Blaine, a Republican politician who served as Secretary of State under presidents Garfield, Arthur and Harrison. The home is currently owned by lawyer and former ambassador to Italy John R. Phillips and his wife, Linda Douglass, who was a communications advisor during the Obama administration.

Chef's Journey | NY to DC | Capitol Hill | Ruta
Dima Martseniuk, chef for 12 years at legendary Ukrainian restaurant Veselka in New York City’s East Village neighborhood, is now bringing Ukrainian cuisine for the first time to Washington, DC. Ruta is a wonderful flower from ancient Ukrainian myths and legends. The Carpathian tale tells that the real “Red Ruta” is a yellow flower, and only on a magical night of Ivana Kupala does it turn flaming red for just a few minutes. The legend also says that the lucky one who finds the flower and plucks it during those few minutes will find true love. We hope our “Ruta” becomes your true love.

Chef's Journey | DC to NY | Lincoln Square | Tatiana
After opening restaurants in Washington, DC’s Shaw and Southwest Waterfront neighborhoods, award-winning chef Kwame Onwuachi returns to his NYC roots with Tatiana on the Lincoln Center campus. With an upbringing rooted in and around the Bronx and the old neighborhood of San Juan Hill, there was no shortage of culinary inspiration for Chef Kwame to draw from: Italian bakeries, Chinese takeout, Caribbean roti shops, corner stores and local bodegas—which is why Tatiana's menu reflects those proud and diverse origins, served with equal measures of care and love.

Almost 50 years later, the Long Island wine region is one of the most exciting rising stars of the winemaking world.
