Pets of CPH
Meet Luna . Her human is Payton Malone ( graduate assistant, MD/MPH student, and outgoing Student Public Health Association President). Payton says: "I rescued Luna (AKA Lunar, The Lunatic, Looney Tunes) in 2014. She was starving and feeding a litter of pups when the rescue found her - life was pretty rough for the first 2-3 years. Now she is nothing but a perpetual toddler and knows that she deserves the life she lives today. Luna is 7 or 8 years old now but still acts like a young pup especially when she is free to roam the woods. Luna and I have also volunteered as a therapy dog team with library programs, Kentucky Children's Hospital, and college campuses during finals weeks. No one can make you feel more loved or brighten your day quicker than Luna."
