Have questions?
We were proud to be a sponsor at the recent Kentucky Health Departments Association (KHDA) 2021 Fall Retreat. This event invited the public health community, including local health department directors and departments in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, to network and discuss ideas that can impact the health of all Kentuckians.
Our Master of Health Administration Program Student Association (MHASA) helped sponsor the recent Kentucky Blood Center's Big Blue Crush 2021 event, an annual blood drive competition that helps put blood on the shelves at local hospitals for the Thanksgiving holiday.
The weather's turning cold and it's the perfect time to curl up with a good book. Our own Rafael Pérez-Figueroa contributes analysis to a recent Louisville Courier Journal story about books that help people learn about systematic inequities and racial reckoning.

Center for Innovation in Population Health (IPH)

The Center for Innovation in Population Health heads the technical assistance team, led by Dr. Michael Cull, in the newly-formed National Partnership for Child Safety (NPCS). NPCS was formed by child welfare leaders in an effort to improve child safety and realign child welfare toward a more preventative child and family well-being system.
Kentucky Injury and Prevention Center (KIPRC)

Each year, Kentucky's Department for Behavioral Health, Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities, Division of Behavioral Health, recognizes Champions in Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services. This year, Danita Coulter and the Kentucky Injury Prevention and Research Center were honored.
