Department Chief and Alumnus, Ahmad Alexander Champions Public Health in the U.S. Army


Alumnus Ahmad Alexander graduated from our MPH program and currently serves as the Chief of the William Beaumont Army Medical Center Department of Public Health in the U.S. Army. Located at Ft. Bliss in El Paso, Texas, WBAMC is one of the largest and most complex health care institutions in the world.

The Kentucky Resident Drug Overdose-Related Morbidity and Mortality Dashboard provides death and emergency department visit data for the past four quarters in one centralized location. It includes an interactive map with county-level counts and rates of fatal and nonfatal drug overdoses, and more.
