This week, we are collecting money for WHAS Crusade for Children through our annual Coins for Crusade fundraiser. This is our way of giving back to WHAS Crusade and also a way to determine which teachers will get messy at the end of year carnival! This year's theme: BBQ BONANZA!
Collection containers are set up in the lobby. Cast your vote in the form of currency into the the container of the staff member you want to see doused in barbecue accoutrements!

BRAVE BBQ ENTHUSIASTS: Jenny Miller, Doug Strothman, Monica Nelson, Emily Lape, Gray Middleton, Rebecca Hoffmann, Stephanie Cain, Brian Sigman, Adam Hribek, Susan Hill, Cindy Morgan

Here's how the collection will work:
Monday: bring in your PENNIES
Tuesday: NICKELS
Wednesday: DIMES
Thursday: QUARTERS
We will update you each day to let you know how our candidates are doing!

May is Better Speech and Hearing Month
Since 1927, The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) has recognized May as Better Speech and Hearing Month. The goal is to raise awareness about communication disorders and promote ways to improve the quality of life for those who experience problems with speaking, understanding, or hearing.

In honor of Better Speech and Hearing Month, Ms. Gail (SLP) will be sharing related information throughout the remainder of May. Follow the link below.
Are wicked witches always bad? That depends on your perspective. Marie is a little girl who likes to jump on her bed, but to the bedbugs being squished underfoot, she is the wicked witch who causes earthquakes, among other natural disasters. In a fun way, the story reminds us there are always two sides to every story and that conflict is best resolved peacefully.
