It's that time again! The week of May 13-17, we will be collecting money for WHAS Crusade for Children through our annual Coins for Crusade fundraiser. This is our way of giving back to an organization that has provided funding for various programs, technology advancements, needed equipment and instructional materials, and more. But it's also a way to see which teachers will get messy at the end of year carnival!
This year's theme: BBQ BONANZA!
Next week, we will have containers in the lobby for each participating staff member. Cast your vote in the form of currency into the the container of the staff member you want to see doused in barbecue accoutrements!

Here's how the collection will work:
Monday: bring in your PENNIES
Tuesday: NICKELS
Wednesday: DIMES
Thursday: QUARTERS
Friday: PAPER MONEY
*** Yearbook sales have been extended through May 6! ***

THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO ORDER:
  • Go to commpe.pictavo.com and enter school ID 79077. Purchase a yearbook online using a credit or debit card (no additional cost).
  • OR Complete the paper order form and return it with payment to your homeroom teacher or the front office. Additional order forms are available at the front desk. If you are able, please consider donating a yearbook so that every student may receive a copy.
Attention 8th grade
Eighth grade individual portraits and a group photo will be taken this Wednesday, May 8. Order forms went home with students last week and should be returned on or before portrait day.

The pictures will be taken outside, weather permitting. Please have students arrive in the clothes they should have their picture taken in and bring along a change of clothes for afterwards.
Join us at Summit to see our drama club transform into BEDBUGS!

Are wicked witches always bad? That depends on your perspective. Marie is a little girl who likes to jump on her bed, but to the bedbugs being squished underfoot, she is the wicked witch who causes earthquakes, among other natural disasters. In a fun way, the story reminds us there are always two sides to every story and that conflict is best resolved peacefully.

Show times:
Tuesday, May 14 @ 1:00 p.m.
Wednesday, May 15 @ 1:00 p.m.
