The Trustees and Leaders Summit

Together we traveled to Montgomery, Alabama to the Equal Justice Initiative's Legacy sites. Over three days, infused with the spirit of humility, respect and collaboration, we sought to understand more deeply the indelible stain of slavery on our history, then and now.

Thank you to historian Dr. Leslie M. Harris, who shared her research with us. Thank you to artist and activist Michelle Browder, creator of the Mothers of Gynecology monument. Thank you to the 50 foundation trustees and nonprofit innovators who made this journey with us. We hope it is the first of many.
