Volume 31, Issue 5 of The Earth Observer features the first NASA Harvest Conference which took place in June 2019. In the first meetings of its kind, approximately 200 agriculture and food security professionals gathered to discuss innovative ways of using satellite and other Earth observation (EO) data.

AGU 100 Fall Meeting

Harvest Partners are presenting at AGU 2019 (see schedule of several talks and posters here ). One overview session called " Four Decades and Counting: Earth Observations and Agricultural Monitoring " includes several partners and will highlight impacts of NASA data, services, and tools for agricultural monitoring and assessment (Tuesday, 12/10, 8 am -12:20 pm, + posters).
The " Earth Observations and Environmental Modeling for Agriculture and Food Security " session will advance the use of satellite and airborne Earth observations, ground observational networks and modeling tools to support decision in agriculture and food security.
