Recently, my husband asked me a simple question: "You'll be turning 60 next February. How do you want to celebrate?"
His question caught me off guard, not because of the number, but because it made me realize that milestones invite us to do more than celebrate. They invite us to reflect. To look back with gratitude for the experiences that shaped us and looking ahead with anticipation for what is still to come.
As it turns out, United Way Charlotte County is asking many of those same questions this year as we celebrate our own milestone: 60 years of serving this community.

Thank You to Our Incredible Fourth Fest Volunteers
Our Fourth Fest celebration was a wonderful success, and it would not have been possible without the incredible support of our volunteers, board members, and staff who generously dedicated part of their holiday to serve our community.
Thanks to your enthusiasm and commitment, hundreds of families enjoyed a fun filled children's area while helping raise funds for the Children's Enrichment Fund. Every game supervised, every smile shared, and every helping hand contributed to creating opportunities for local children to participate in sports, arts, music, and other enriching activities that help them learn, grow, and thrive.
Your generosity of time and spirit is a powerful reminder of what we can accomplish when our community comes together. Thank you for making a meaningful difference in the lives of local children and families. We are truly grateful for each and every one of you.
