But please remember that as important as voting is, it is not the most significant use of our power to shape the world. The most powerful person in the world is not the one elected president. The most powerful person in the world is ...

For Sister Churches
Father Casey has encouraged us to send financial gifts to two of our namesake, sister churches in areas of North Carolina that Hurricane Helene directly impacted. Episcopal Church of the Transfiguration in Saluda, NC, and Church of the Transfiguration in Bat Cave, NC have both suffered considerable loss in the wake of this devastating storm.
| |
Episcopal Relief & Development
The devastation caused by Hurricane Helene and Milton is catastrophic. Hundreds are dead, tens of thousands are homeless, and some towns were virtually washed away. Episcopal Relief & Development has resources on the ground and is actively providing funds and support to help those in need.
| |
Remembering the Departed
In anticipation of All Saints’ and All Souls’ Days, when the Church remembers the great cloud of witnesses who have gone ahead of us in death, you are invited to share the names of those you know who’ve died in the past year for inclusion in the Book of Remembrance.
The Book of Remembrance is available near the holy font and will be placed before the Altar on the weekend of All Saints Sunday.
