Covington Travelers are Talking
I was returning to the US from a trip to the UK and managed to leave my passport hundreds of miles from the airport at Heathrow. I knew I had missed my plane, but still faced the trial of securing a new ticket asap. The customer service desk at American Airlines was horribly busy sorting out passenger inquires; I waited in line for ages only to be told that there was nothing they could do with my ticket and I would need to talk to my travel agent: my travel agent, in the USA, out off office hours, the day after Xmas, on a temporary mobile phone with dwindling credit that I had bought just for the trip. I thought all was lost, for sure.  

You can imagine how relieved I was when I dialed the number, not expecting an answer, and the emergency team picked up. From there it was plain sailing: the Covington agent took my number so
she could call me back, took the details, gave me clear instructions about what would happen next and when, and in no time at all I had a new ticket sorted for the next available flight. I remember thinking at the time how glad I was I had an actual agent to call. I am not sure what I would have done if have bought my ticket from off some website. Thanks to you all.
