Dear Chamberlain Performing Arts supporters

Usually, our Board President Julie Foughty leads off our To the Pointe newsletter with a letter of her own. However, as we are wrapping up 2018, I wanted to be the one to tell you hello.
I founded Chamberlain Performing Arts thirty-four years ago as an avenue for my students to perform. This past Thanksgiving weekend, our company dancers performed for over 4,500 people at the Eisemann Center in Richardson. It was quite the three days. Over four performances, three ticketed and one free for underserved in our community, our company dancers, guest artists, staff, crew, and incredibly supportive volunteers were able to make our 2018 Nutcracker a fantastic weekend.
If you were in the audience this past Thanksgiving weekend, you may have noticed our fantastic new tree! We are putting a heavy emphasis on revamping the look and overall experience of our flagship production. Chamberlain Performing Arts is always dedicated to putting forth the best performance and production possible. We are working just as hard, on showcasing our performers, as our performers are consistently working to do their best for you.
Thank you all for your continued support of Chamberlain Performing Arts. It has been a tremendous 2018. Between our annual Signature fundraiser, Regional Dance America (in Albuquerque), and the return of our Focal Pointe performance; this Spring will be very busy. Until then we get to take it easy with a couple Nutcracker Suites performances and a workshop or two!
