Girl Scout Troop 10885 Meadows Library Book Donation
Girl Scout Troop 10885 turned their hard-earned cookie money into a gift that keeps on giving! Using funds raised from their cookie sales, the scouts donated over 50 books to the school library, helping to expand its collection and inspire a love of reading among their classmates. Their thoughtful contribution ensures that more students have access to engaging and educational books for years to come. Through this project, the troop demonstrated leadership, generosity, and a commitment to making a positive impact in their community—one book (and one cookie) at a time!

Volunteer Spotlight
We owe a round of applause to the amazing chairs who made this year’s Twirl with My Girl event an unforgettable experience. Thank you Kristen Del Pero and Sarah Miles! Their dedication and creativity transformed the multipurpose room at MBMS into a dazzling glow in the dark party that was loved by both kids and adults alike. Every detail of the evening was carefully planned and executed to create an enchanting atmosphere where families and friends could come together, dance, and make lasting memories. From the vibrant glowing decorations to the exciting dance floor, Kristen and Sarah went above and beyond to ensure that the night was filled with fun, laughter, and joy. The kids had a blast twirling and dancing under the blacklights, while the adults were able to join in on the fun or simply enjoy the excitement as they watched their little ones have a great time. The event not only brought families closer together but also allowed everyone to unwind, celebrate, and enjoy an evening of pure happiness. The planning and organizing for an event like Twirl with My Girl takes an incredible amount of time and effort, and the chairs and volunteer team behind the scenes made it all look seamless. It’s because of their commitment and passion that the event was such a glowing success. The dedication and hard work of Kristen and Sarah made it a truly special event that our community will remember for years to come. Shout out to our volunteers, who stepped out so our girls could step out for a night of fun. Thank you Christie Ly, Susmita Patnala, Nicole Ameln, Shirley Cramer, Aida Villalobos-Herbert, Chris Pasula, Diana Tran, Beverly Richards, Maria Rajaratnam, Bethany Francis, Jamie Stamper Reichbach, Jena Choi, Toral Patel, Christina Rose, Tina Broome, Laura McDonnell, Deni Kennedy, Christine Wang for donating and volunteering.
