The NETworker of the Month

February 2023

Jada Peck joined The NETwork DFW chapter with a fresh perspective as someone newer to the company but with the maturity of someone who has been here awhile. From day one, she has been vocal about her opinion, ideas on how to grow the chapter and areas of opportunities. It is not hard to align her with the appropriate swim lanes that we could help influence. The initiatives that she has hit the ground running on has been kicking off our Black History Month series and being an anchoring in our Stories for Racial Healing where she was a co-interviewer with peer Antonia Martinez. As we think about our roadmap, Jada will help co-lead will be the 2nd EG Pre-Conference Meet & Greet, work closely with the VP of Membership to help launch The Neo NETwork Experience and other staple networking and community-based initiatives. Jada will be instrumental in ensuring we are reaching our Gen Z generation and driving modernization efforts to transform the chapter.

Jada does not hesitate to support or raise her hand to drive momentum in Program Planning arm of the NETwork DFW. As mentioned, she will help to drive the mission of the Networking and Community pillars where we conduct annual programs such as Celebration of the Arts, Juneteenth, Minnie’s Food Pantry and eSTEAM efforts. Her love for connecting people, identifying new opportunities to grow and tenacity are all essential traits to leverage as we are hyper-focused on continued growth.

The DFW chapter is honored to have the talent and commitment from Ms. Jada Peck. We are excited to see how she continues to grow professionally and personally.

CONGRATULATIONS Jada for this well-deserved honor!

Shining Member Moments

Nikeya Taylor

Nikeya is the current president of the Jacksonville Virtual Chapter. She took on the HARD job, Jan 2023 as the Chapter President with no board and inactive members. She is the definition of a servant leader and often defers her applause for job well done to the team. She deserves her shining moment. Jacksonville has been built from ground level and this is no easy task. We are only as good as our leadership and because of our LEAD, Nikeya, Jacksonville continues to evolve. Not only does Nikeya lead our chapter, she leads by example. There isn't a director or member that serves or gives more than she does. I am thankful for her heart, dedication, passion, hard work and vision for the NETwork Jacksonville, and I am excited to see our chapter continue to evolve.
