The Naked Gospel

“For in Him we live and move and have our being.” Acts 17:28

        One of the hardest tasks of my life has been to peel away the layers of religion to uncover the life-changing gospel. It has been quite a journey and the conviction has crystallized in my heart that all true believers  in Christ  in heaven and on earth have but one faith (1). That faith has characterized all of God’s true people down through the ages. Thus out of this deep conviction, I have formed my “Personal Statement of Faith”.

           Christianity is Christ (2).

           In Christ, There is no denomination (3).

           Only blood-bought (4),

           Born-again (5),

           Spirit-led (6),

           Bible-believing Christians (7).

           Therefore, my creed is the Bible (8),

           My empowerment is Grace (9), 

           My life is of Faith (10); 

           My denomination is Christ (11),

           My salvation is in Christ alone (12).

           This to me is “The Naked Gospel”-bare bones, unadorned, irreducible! I Belong to God! “For in Him I live and move and have my being” Acts 17:28.
