2020 Ministry Launch – Stepping Stones for the Journey
This Tuesday, February 4, 6:30-8:30, in Wesley Hall, will be a special event called “2020 Ministry Launch – Stepping Stones for the Journey”. This event is in place of our Ministry Council meeting and it will include a Board Meeting. Anyone in the church is welcome to attend. Board and Ministry Council members as well as all persons serving on a ministry team or group in any capacity are especially encouraged to attend – particularly if you are new to a ministry team/group in 2020. The purpose of this event is to equip us all for ministry in this new year - providing tools for us to follow the best practices to enhance our communications, meetings, outreach, mission and overall effectiveness for the mission:

  • being disciples, making disciples, and maturing disciples of Jesus Christ;
  • being God’s agents of transformation in our communities and throughout the world, and
  • being bold and courageous leaders in reaching new people, younger people, and a more diverse people.

The Board Meeting portion will consider the following agenda items:
  1. Sanctuary Refurbishment funding adjustment proposal
  2. Sanctuary Refurbishment Feasibility Study Agreement Review
  3. Trustees Computer technology policy

All participants are asked to please plan on attending the whole event 6:30-8:30.

See you Tuesday, for just such a time as this!

CHECK OUT OUR NEW AND IMPROVED WEBSITE

If you’ve visited our website within the past week, you may have noticed we’ve had some work done – and it was definitely time for an update.

With that in mind, we are proud to unveil our completely redesigned website at https://www.myfaithunited.org/. The site boasts a newer, cleaner interface better optimized for mobile, an attractive graphic design, and a structure that makes it easier for members and community to see all the great things we offer.

We hope you’ll spend some time on the new site learning about exciting programs we provide for children, youth and adults, the important service work being done by members through our various ministries, and our up-to-the-minute calendar of events with worship services, programs and other things happening at Faith United.

The new website features a distinctive new look, which is part of our branding campaign that has the objective of broadening our appeal to new visitors to our church. Kudos to Len Terlizzi, web development and marketing support team leader, and his team for their hard work in launching our new website.
