Celebrating Community at the Windy City Housing Fair & Expo

NHS extends a heartfelt thank-you to everyone who joined us for the Windy City Housing Fair & Expo! Together, we celebrated the partnerships, leadership, and community investments helping shape Chicago’s housing future.

The momentum doesn’t stop here. With your continued support, we can continue expanding homeownership opportunities, strengthening neighborhoods, and building generational wealth.

Credit Union 1 presented NHS with a donation.

Participants engaged with organizations and industry professionals working to strengthen Chicago’s neighborhoods.

Ald. Desmon Yancy (5th Ward) and Ald. Michelle Harris (8th Ward) joined us in support of South Side communities, including parts of South Shore.

Damian Zavala led a workshop offering practical guidance to help participants prepare for homeownership.

State Rep. Marcus Evans Jr. stopped by to connect with members of the NHS team.

Community members explored homeownership opportunities and access to valuable resources.

In recognition of October as Fire Safety Month, registered participants received fire safety kits to help promote preparedness and safety at home.

Residents gathered to learn, ask questions, and discover resources to support their housing and financial goals.

From meaningful conversations to new connections, attendees helped make it a celebration of community, opportunity, and neighborhood investment.

Art “Chat Daddy” Sims livestreamed and interviewed sponsors and elected officials throughout the day.

Attendees learned from trusted housing and real estate professionals like Kimberly Adams of Neighborhood Lending Services, Inc., an affiliate of NHS.

Together at NHS, we help the city's residents take meaningful steps toward building stronger financial futures and thriving communities.
