Full communion between churches
Fellowship in Altar and Pulpit
by Michael Redmond
The Episcopal Church and the Church of Sweden (Lutheran) has formally established full communion, one with another, following some three decades of discussion. "So what do we mean by full communion between churches? ... What full communion means, practically, is fellowship in altar and pulpit. Each church may invite clergy of the other church to preach, teach, officiate the sacraments, and do pastoral and administrative work in the other." Read full article here.

Good News from the Stewardship Resource Team!
We have purchased a membership with ECF360 – the comprehensive financial arm of The Episcopal Church Foundation – to give every parish in the Episcopal Church in Delaware new and exciting resources for stewardship – financial and otherwise – all year long. In order to access our diocesan links to both The Episcopal Network for Stewardship and ECF360, you will need to contact Helen Spence at [email protected] for the login information. These are both vital programs and we hope that you will avail yourselves of the work being done by professionals on behalf of The Episcopal Church. In addition, if a parish would like to participate in an extended Zoom webinar with ECF360, Helen can take contact information from you and share it with James Murphy, Executive Director of ECF360. This is a wonderful opportunity for us all, and we hope that you find it helpful. We pray that your financial giving and additional stewardship opportunities will bring your parishes vitality, joy, and opportunities to show how your church is Created for Good Works in Christ Jesus in the coming year. "Thy Will Be Done"
St. Paul's Church, Georgetown
This window may portray the Angel Gabriel at the Annunciation. The Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary, bearing the news that she was chosen by God to bear his only Son.
“And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word.” (Luke 1:38)
This is one of the two oldest memorial windows in the church. It was crafted in the Tiffany style. This window was given in memory of Miss Isabel Moore’s mother, IIelena Benson Moore. Miss Isabel is buried in the churchyard. Her aunt, Miss Nellie Moore, played the organ at St. Paul’s for 25 years.
Please submit an image and description of your church window to us: [email protected]

Prayer for Fruitful Seasons
Almighty God, Lord of heaven and earth: We humbly pray that your gracious providence may give and preserve to our use the harvests of the land and of the seas, and may prosper all who labor to gather them, that we, who constantly receive good things from your hand, may always give you thanks; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.
