Bishop Kevin S. Brown recently participated in a dedication ceremony in Wilmington. The event, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Brandywine Hundred on Friday, November 10, paid tribute to veterans and first responders, acknowledging the extraordinary contributions of ordinary individuals. The ceremony included a prayer of dedication led by the bishop, a keynote address by Robert Coupe, and recognition of award recipients: Fisher House for Families of the Fallen and Friends of the New Castle County Mounted Police. |
Originating with 25 flags several years ago, the ceremony has grown significantly. This year, over 500 flags were displayed, including one in honor of Bishop Kevin Brown, symbolizing the event's expansion and deepened community engagement.
