Bishop Brown announces
Christmas Card Contest Winner
My wife, Caroline, and I were touched by how Keziah Soto's beautiful drawing wonderfully illustrates the scripture text inside the card, For a child has been born for us, a son given to us; authority rests upon his shoulders; and he is named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (Isa. 9:6)

We are pleased and proud to have Keziah's artwork for our Christmas Card this year.

Thank you Keziah!
Keziah Soto, 15 years old, is a member of the Episcopal Church of Sts. Andrew and Matthew, Wilmington.

May the upcoming Advent season deepen our desire for the coming of Jesus,
who brings peace to
us and to our world.
Advent begins Sunday, November 28, 2021. Advent begins with the fourth Sunday before Christmas and continues through the day before Christmas. The name is derived from a Latin word for "coming." The season is a time of preparation and expectation for the coming celebration of our Lord's nativity, and for the final coming of Christ "in power and glory."
