PARKING:

Parking lot on Concord Pike, across from the Village of St. John, is available for this event. This lot is gated and parking lot attendants will be opening the gates for attendees between 3:30 and 3:45. If you are unable to park in the lot, street parking is also available.

UPON ARRIVAL:

Please use the main entryway to the Village of St. John, which is directly off of the village's circle drive at 2020 N. Tatnall Street.

The circle drive may be used to drop off, but it does not lead to parking.

Children participate in services at St. Thomas's Parish, Newark

All children and youth are encouraged to participate in St. Thomas's 10:30 a.m. worship on the last Sunday of each month — "Family Church Sunday". This can be expressed in many different ways, depending on the interests of the children. Last Sunday, the Feast of Christ the King, this young girl contributed by arranging the altar flowers. She was showered with encouragement from her faith family! There are many possibilities for how the youngest faith family members can use their talents, including ushering, reading, and fellowship hour. It is important that the children feel welcome in worship, and valued by the church.

Registration Opens December 1

Camp Arrowhead summer camp registration will open at midnight December 1. All of our dates and rates are posted online at camparrowhead.net. Take a peek at this summer's brochure and dream with us about warmer weather! Staff Applications will also open on December 1. If you know an incredible 16 - 20-something year old with a heart for working with kids in the outdoors, please encourage them to apply online.

Question: As a Christian tradition, the Advent wreath holds four candles representing Jesus coming as the light in darkness. One candle is lit each Sunday until all four candles are lit. As Christmas draws nearer, each candle brings a little more light into the darkness. Sometimes a fifth candle is lit. What does it represent?

Clue: It is a white candle, lit on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.
