Ghostwalk Celebrates 30 Years

New Bern's Ghostwalk is a time-honored celebration of the city's rich history as told by local spirits. Produced by the New Bern Historical Society, this annual event is celebrating 30 years. This year the event has been safely re-imagined and will take place in everyone's favorite haunting - Cedar Grove Cemetery. As you make your way through the cemetery, you will be met by thirteen historic spirits that will engage, educate and entertain you in the darkness of the evening. Fairfield Harbour Hosts 9-11 Service

The 9-11 Memorial tradition continued in Fairfield Harbour, at 7:00 on September 11, with an abbreviated service held at the Tri-Community Volunteer Fire department, where the 9-11 memorial was built with World Trade Center girders. The service included a wreath presentation, a moment of silence and ringing of the bell followed by Taps being played by Fairfield Harbour resident, Bob Dumon.

In a special ceremony held in front of CarolinaEast Medical Center, President and CEO Ray Leggett recognized his entire health system family for their efforts during the COVID pandemic.
