NEWS YOU NEED
State, local, and tribal leaders are invited to join a national partnership to maximize the impact of the American Rescue Plan.
We're holding targeted listening sessions across the country with key stakeholders, including people with lived experience.
This historic funding is now available to develop affordable housing and non-congregate shelter, and to provide rental assistance and supportive services.
The remainder of the American Rescue Plan's Emergency Rental Assistance funding will go to "high-performing" state and local governments.
33 communities, 11 of which are rural, will receive $142 million to build systems to end youth homelessness.
The Grant and Per Diem funding will be distributed to 200+ organizations that provide transitional housing and supportive services for veterans.
It covers innovative strategies that state and local governments are using to bring down the barriers to and increase the supply.
