Buffalo Blanks Moves To Cave Creek with New and Improved Production and Staff and Western Shooting Horse
Buffalo Blanks has moved its headquarters from New Mexico to Arizona, and is now under the new ownership of Ken Amorosano and Western Shooting Horse Magazine.
Founded in 2006 by Ken Amorosano and partner and primary blank builder Mike Nelson, Buffalo Blanks has provided hundreds of thousands of blanks to the mounted shooting community. In November 2012, Amorosano and Western Shooting Horse bought out Nelson and moved the production to Cave Creek, Arizona.
Mike Nelson is no longer with Buffalo Blanks. A new manufacturing engineer has been added with updated equipment and loading techniques in our new manufacturing facility.

Buffalo Blanks has developed a new, cleaner production and packaging system for the blanks that incorporates motorized automation and advanced polishing for one of the most consistent and clean competition blanks in the market.
With newer and more modern equipment, quality control is a main focus. Each and every blank is hand and machine checked for proper primer placement and powder level.
We have also stepped up our packaging with a sealed and moisture proof system for easy storage, shipping and retail display.
In our previous process the blanks were sometimes oily because of the manufacturing method. With the new automated system, the blanks are now highly polished with no oily residue.
