The New Employee Space Will Go Live July 5
Dear Team DPS,

The Finance phase of the new Employee Space is going live on Tuesday, July 5. As previously shared, DPS is transitioning from Infor/Lawson/GHR/Learning Space to a new Employee Space, hosted by the cloud-based Oracle solution. This transition will improve ease-of-use, system reliability and operational efficiency.

To prepare for this transition, here are some helpful resources to help you prepare to navigate through the new system.

How to Find Support in the System
Embedded within the new Employee Space is a training feature, in which a searchable "Need Help?" pop-up on the screen will provide flows and guides to support users with completing processes in the new system. Check out this quick demo video to see this feature in action, and review this one pager

Additional Resources

  • Access the new Employee Space the same way you currently access Finance Infor/ Lawson, via the Employee Action Center. Login information will be shared on July 5.

  • Training is available for our highest impacted groups:
  • In-person training for Office Support personnel and p-card holders will be held in June, July and August. Click here for details and registration information. Participants will learn and practice completing the following processes: Entering requisitions, managing invoices, SAF reporting, p-card reconciliation and submitting reimbursement/per-diem.
  • During the Office Support Summit on Aug. 4, a number of sessions will be dedicated to the new Employee Space. Click here for details and registration information.

As a reminder, only financial transactions will be completed through the new Employee Space at this time -- HR functions will continue to be completed in Infor HR until that phase of functions are available in the new Employee Space this fall.

I want to acknowledge that changes to any system take time to adjust to, and we may all experience some delays to financial transactions during the first few weeks of this transition. This is normal and to be expected. Please be patient with yourselves and each other as we learn the exciting new system functionality.

I am confident that with the guidance of our teams, you will find this to be an intuitive experience that supports not only DPS as a data-driven organization, but ultimately our core mission of equitable teaching and student learning.
