The Holy See - Pope Francis

Spread the Gospel of hope

In the face of a sometimes “anesthetized,” consumerist society, we must recall the “scandal” of our Christian faith — that God became man and dwells in each of us, especially the weakest — Pope Francis said in the northern Italian city of Trieste on Sunday.

Message from Archbishop Gustavo García-Siller, MSpS

Most Rev. Gustavo García-Siller, MSpS

I recently celebrated my 40th anniversary of ordination to the priesthood. I am deeply humbled and filled with gratitude for the countless blessings and experiences that have shaped my journey. As a priest, my greatest joy has been to lead others to encounter Jesus, the Savior. I have sought to prepare the way for the Lord, to make His presence known in the lives of those I serve. This mission has been a privilege and responsibility, one I have tried to fulfill with humility and dedication. As I look back over these 40 years, I am deeply grateful for the fidelity that God has called me to, and for the mission He has entrusted to me. I have sought to be a witness to the light, pointing others to the source of all hope and salvation. I have been abundantly blessed in order to bless others. All blessings grow as they are communicated. The journey is not over. There is still much work to be done, many hearts to be touched, and many souls to be guided towards Christ. Please join me in asking the Lord to strengthen my commitment to continuing my mission with renewed vigor and dedication, trusting in God’s grace and mercy to sustain me.
